In-Home Services

In-Home Services provide individuals with the ability to live each day to the fullest in their own homes.  Garden Place provides these In-Home Services to residents who live independently at home but need a helping hand every now and then.

In-Home Services provide assistance in the following areas:

• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and linen assistance
• Errand help
• Meal planning, shopping, clean up and preparation
• Companionship and conversation
• Entertainment/hobbies
• Plant or pet care assistance
• Activities to promote independence and combat depression
• Assistance with bathing, dressing and other activities of daily living

Garden Place is licensed to provide In-Home Services through the Illinois Department of Public Health.  Garden Place staff members are certified to completely assess seniors’ specific needs and ensure that they can provide the appropriate care.  Seniors do not need a doctor’s authorization to receive In-Home Services.

In-Home Services are billed on an hourly basis.  Visits of four hours or more are billed at a rate of $16 per hour for non-holidays and $32 per hour for holidays.  Visits of less than four hours are billed at a rate of $20 per hour for non-holidays and $40 per hour for holidays.
