Adult Day Club

Adult Day Club is an innovative, non-residential program designed to alleviate some of the mental and social strains that age brings. Often referred to as adult day care, Garden Place prefers to think of this service as Adult Day Club – a group of active seniors that participate in the day’s fun and extend their social activity. Studies prove regular exercise, which challenges the mind and body, wards off and slows the progression of memory loss. Further, daily socialization leads to a happier and more satisfied lifestyle.

Garden Place’s Adult Day Club offers structured, social programs that allow elderly individuals and their caregivers the opportunity to enjoy a safe and nurturing environment during the day while returning to their home at night. Since this service is common among people with dementia, we also conduct Alzheimer’s Support Groups.
For best results, individuals are encouraged to visit an Adult Day Club program three or more days per week.

Adult Day Club at Garden Place Senior Living includes the following services and amenities:

• 24-hour on-duty, certified attendant
• Meals as appropriate to the time of stay
• Scheduled transportation for necessary errands
• Scheduled activities and social gatherings
• Access to common areas – including television, craft, exercise, dining and sitting areas
• Assistance in setting and meeting personal goals to remain independent and active
• Medication reminders

These additional services are available (additional cost may apply):

• Bathing stand-by
• Guest meals
• Beauty/barber shop
• Registered nurse consultant

Adult Day Care is available on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. The hourly rate is $10 per hour. Please contact one of our Community Managers to schedule a visit or to make your Adult Day Club schedule.
